Lawrence Robbins, M.D.
Dr. Lawrence Robbins is a Neurologist and Headache Specialist with certificates in pain management, headache, and psychopharmacology. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan, did an internship in Internal Medicine at Illinois Masonic Hospital, completed his residency in Neurology at University of Illinois in Chicago and completed his fellowship with the American Association for the Study of Headache.
He is considered to be one of the top 10 experts in the country for management of headache and has won countless awards. Doctor Robbins has spearheaded cutting-edge research over the past 30 years, including being involved in many F.D.A. trials for headache medicine research. Dr. Robbins has published over 250 articles and abstracts, along with publishing over 5 books.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Rosalind Franklin Medical School, where he lectures and is a preceptor to medical students. Dr. Robbins has been a speaker at many headache conferences around the world and has held board positions in various headache society groups. He is a pharmaceutical speaker for migraine medications where he educates his peers.
In 2017, Dr. Robbins established a neurology clinic in rural Honduras where he regularly visits to see patients, along with recruiting healthcare staff to help run this clinic. Dr. Robbins’s non-profit, The American Headache Association, helps fund the Honduras clinic.
