Tablet vs. Ergotamine/Caffeine in Migraine (Posted Sept 2002) Treatment of Migraine-Associated Nausea: Comparison of Rizatriptan and Sumatriptan J.Pascual, Cephalalgia, May 2000 Introduction and Objective: After headache, nausea may be the migraine symptom that most bothers migraine sufferers. The objective of this study is a retrospective analysis of the efficacy of oral doses of rizatriptan and sumatriptan for treating nausea during a migraine attack. Conclusion: Up to 2 hours after dosing, rizatriptan 10 mg. was generally more effective than oral doses of sumatriptan at eliminating nausea in patients with nausea at baseline.
