Brooke Phenicie, Nurse Practitioner

Brooke Phenicie, NP-C is an associate at the Robbins Headache Clinic.  She has over 11 years of experience specializing in headache management and has developed a passion for her patients.  As a nurse practitioner, Brooke is licensed to diagnose and provide treatment for a variety of conditions, including prescribing medications to adults and pediatrics.  She is an injector of Botox for the treatment of Chronic Migraines, is able to perform IV rescue treatments for acute migraines, nerve blocks and trigger point acupuncture. Brooke has helped conduct many F.D.A. pharmaceutical studies at the clinic, co-authored articles with Dr. Robbins and is a current pharmaceutical speaker for various migraine medications.  

Brooke received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University, and her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Purdue University, where she earned top grades.  Brooke is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed in Illinois and Indiana. She has a certification in Master Psychopharmacology from the Neuroscience Education Institute and a certification of Added Qualification in Headache Medicine (AQH) through the National Headache Foundation.  She is a member of the American Headache Society, National Headache Society and Southern Headache Society.  She has completed additional training earning certificates from Rana Kennelly for injection of aesthetics including Botox, Dysport and facial fillers.  

Brooke brings compassion and empathy to her medical practice. She prides herself on being an excellent listener and striving to bring patients the best care possible. She complements Dr. Robbins in her approach and they work closely together. She previously worked in family practice, home health care and labor and delivery, which gave her experience in treating a wide variety of medical conditions.
