Objectives: We hypothesize that children with chronic daily headache (CDH), when compared to migraine patients, have a significantly higher incidence of co-morbid symptoms. These additional, non-headache symptoms contribute to the morbidity and dysfunction associated with CDH.

Conclusions: CDH sufferers tend to have current multiple system complaints that occur more frequently than in the migraine population. This includes problems with sleep, dizziness, pain at other sites, and sadness. Furthermore, they are more likely to have a past history of pain (muscular, bone/joint) other than headache.
